Core Estate Planning Documents
What an Indiana Estate Plan Covers
Most Indiana estate plans rest on a handful of core documents. We prepare each one clearly and make sure they work together.
Indiana Law & Local Experience
Estate Planning Under Indiana Law
Indiana requires a will to be in writing, signed by the person making it, and witnessed by two people. Without a valid will, the Indiana intestacy statutes decide who inherits, and that result often surprises families.
Indiana also allows transfer-on-death deeds for real estate, payable-on-death designations on accounts, and a small estate affidavit for estates valued under $100,000. We combine those tools with revocable living trusts to keep as much of your estate out of probate court as possible.
We serve clients from our Westfield and Bloomington offices: Westfield, Bloomington, Indianapolis, Carmel, Noblesville, Zionsville, and Fishers.
