Why Westfield and Bloomington Clients Choose Webster & Garino

Estate planning and family law overlap far more than most people expect. A divorce changes who inherits, a remarriage changes a will, an aging parent changes both. With two founding partners under one roof, one who has argued before the Indiana Supreme Court and one who has tried complex cases for nearly two decades, your matter does not get handed to a stranger when it changes shape.

Founding Partner · Estate Planning & Probate

William J. Webster

William J. Webster is a founding partner of Webster & Garino LLC and has spent more than a decade advocating for Indiana individuals and business owners. In State of Indiana v. Seo, he argued and won a landmark case before the Indiana Supreme Court that stops law enforcement from forcing people to unlock their electronic devices.

His practice covers business law, criminal defense, estate planning and probate, and real estate. Clients come to him for practical answers and stay with him because he is as comfortable in a courtroom as he is across a conference table.

William is a guest lecturer at Stanford University School of Law, has been named a Super Lawyer, and was selected to The National Trial Lawyers Top 100.

Carla V. Garino

Carla V. Garino is a founding partner of Webster & Garino LLC and has served Indiana clients for nearly two decades, with significant experience in negotiation, litigation, and complex jury trials.

Her practice covers complex civil litigation, divorce and family law, business law and litigation, and estate planning and administration. As a former fitness franchise owner, she gives business clients a practical perspective that helps them head off problems before they escalate.

She earned her law degree magna cum laude from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and began her career as a law clerk to the Honorable David F. Hamilton of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

Working With Webster & Garino

That depends on the matter. William handles estate planning and probate. Carla handles divorce and family law. When a matter touches both, such as updating an estate plan during a divorce, they work it together rather than handing you off.
